As I was driving to work yesterday morning, I could see the sunrise starting to touch the tops of the mountains and a beautiful pink/lavender glow in the sky. I took a small detour and went to the park to take photos at the river.
Sometimes mornings like these take my breath away.
Maralee

These are just spectacular Maralee.
Thank you, Edith.
First I want to ask about that weekend .. that you won, have you been away yet.
Second anything with reflexes you to so brilliantly beautiful. That last photo – I wish I had mornings like that. AWESOME !!!!
We haven’t gone away for the weekend yet. We have 1 year to use the voucher. We’ve just had so much going on lately and we want to go when the weather is a little more predictable.
Okay, no rush then. I’m sure we will see on your posts when you have been away. Have a great weekend! *smile
If you had been late for work it would have been worth it!
I have a habit of getting to work very early. I like to have some “personal” time before I actually start work, so I had plenty of time to go take some photos and still be early for work. 🙂
so beautiful so beautiful… Thank you dear, love, nia
Thank you, Nia. Have a wonderful weekend.
Like wonderful postcards. Almost unreal beauty.
Thank you, Bente. There are some days that the beauty around me takes my breath away.
It must be almost worth going to work to get views like these.
It is. I try to never take it for granted.
These are just beautiful images…
Thank you, Rob.
I have to agree with bentehaarstad. Should be a post card. Amazing images!
Thank you, Marcus.
Just beautiful. Wow! Composition is spot on.
Thank you, Carissa. Now we have gray skies and rain (which we badly need) so I probably won’t see much in the way of sunrises for a few days.
These images looks as if Monet painted them. What warm and glorious light. And the mountain in the background is majestic.
Thank you, Bella. There are some mornings when the light on the mountains takes my breath away.
