It was a gorgeous day today. Blue skies, sunshine, and just a few beauty clouds floating around up there. The mountains were stunning with a cloak clouds hovering over them.

I went to the place where I get a really good view of the mountains and lo and behold. someone had gated the area and filled the field with cows. So I had to take the photos from behind the gate.
I liked the pine tree because of the huge scar that went up the entire side of the tree. I don’t know if it had been struck by lightning at some point or what, but it was interesting

The cow … looks a bit anxious *smile … love those what you call floating clouds – brilliant name for them. Second one from the top … my pick of the day. Love clouds .. fluffy and soft. Pine tree, great too – like close up on textures. We had a fantastic day too … even if the sun was hiding at times, it became very chilly then.
It was so nice to have such a beautiful day after all the rain and snow we’ve been having. It wasn’t terribly warm, but just having the sun shining was spectacular.
I really like photos of cloud-shrouded mountains, and those are very nice.
Thanks. I love the mountains here. Sometimes when I’m driving to work in the morning and the alpenglow is on the mountains, I can hardly breath it’s so beautiful.
Dear Maralee, these are amazing photographs… You have a wonderful landscapes… How nice to watch them. But especially the last one hit me. It is great. How I love trees… as much as cats… 🙂
Thank you, with my love, nia
I do live in a beautiful areas. When the sun is out and the mountains are white with snow, it almost takes my breath away sometimes.
These photos make me miss Oregon.
These are really beautiful Maralee, to live in such a fantastic area, must be a real privilige…:D
Truly beautiful. (The place and the photos.) 🙂
I’m imagining you in front of that cow. She’s thinking “I hope you got my good side.”
Beautiful pacific northwest. I miss it too.
I’m actually a little bit afraid of cows. Don’t know why. I was glad I was standing on the other side of the fence, although some of them were so big I didn’t think it would take much for them to knock it over. I didn’t want to do anything to incite them.
LOl… I found myself breathing deeply while looking at these photos. I guess I was trying to breath in the fresh air from your photos 🙂 My imagination running a little wild..
