The past few weeks have been unusually stressful for me. At times like this I like to go down to the river to decompress.

There’s something about being by the water and listening to nature that relaxes me. Last weekend was one of those times. It was a beautiful, spring-like day and it was a joy to just sit by the river and observe.
Beautiful photos, I hope that things get better for you soon.
Thanks so much. It always gets better and I think it’s on the upswing now. 🙂
Going to the water is always my favorite way to relax too. I’m glad you have such a beautiful place to visit.
The water has always been soothing to me. Maybe it’s because I grew up on a lake and have always lived near water.
It is nice that you always have your friend, the camera, along with you.
I take my camera with me just about everywhere now.
Maralee, you go easy on yourself … and water has a fantastic effect on us … heart and soul, calming and relaxing. My pick has to be the men under the bridge .. because of the colors and
the action in front them in the water. Have pleasant weekend .. and take it easy.
Thanks, Viveka. I will take it easy and enjoy the weekend.
Good on you – great news.
Lovely atmospheric pictures…love them.
Hope things ease up on you soon Maralee. Thankfully you have the soothing magic of the water nearby.
Thanks, Bella. I’m sure the worst is over and it will only get better. 🙂
Oh the bush and the rivers.. a calming tablet has nothing on them… they just seem to rejuvenate the soul…
I can walk along the river for hours and it is so calming for me. Just like the bush is for you.
