While crossing the bridge at the Old Mill, I saw this kayaker about to come through under the bridge. I saw this kayak at the Christmas Kayak Parade on Friday but it was so dark it was hard to see. Today it was earlier in the day and the water on the river was like glass. He/she stopped paddling for just a few minutes as they came under the bridge so I was able to get a couple of shots.
I loved the colors of the prayer flags and the reflection on the water. The Christmas lights were on, but it was light enough out that they didn’t show up that well.

Looks like he’s floating on glass… lovely capture…
Thanks, Rob. That water was just like glass and it’s not like that very often.
Talk about multi-color shot … the water is like a mirror – you have always been good to capture reflections.
Thanks, Viveka. I love it when the water is still and like glass. It gives the best reflections.
You always so good on catching reflections! You’re talent.
Love the festive boat. He looks like he just glided across the water.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
I think he was just gliding. It was so smooth on the water.
Pleasntly colorful shots , Maralee !
Beautiful reflections !

Thank you, Utham.
Love the reflections captured in this photograph.. I had never heard of a prayer flag so I had to google it! Thanks for sharing Maralee!
Thank you so much. I don’t know much about the prayer flags . . . but I’ve seen photos of them hanging in Tibet and other places.
So colourful and great!
Thank you, Inga.
I love the reflection and triangles! Wonderful!
Thanks, Carissa. I was fortunate that he/she just paused after coming out from under the bridge and rested there for a few moments.
