We had a fair amount of rain yesterday afternoon and evening and after a night of freezing temperatures we were left with some frozen water droplets on the grass this morning. These were done hand-held at a high ISO (3200) . . . I don’t have a tripod that will let me get that low to the ground. I tried to reduce some of the grain by taking the photos in to NIK Define Software.

Gorgeous!
Thank you so much.
I really am enjoying your photography! I would love to learn how to be better but one step at a time! In the meantime, I do enjoy seeing each of your posts. Thank you! 🙂
WoW… ice drops … beautiful caught – my pick .. is the last one, where I can really see the crystal.
No ice or snow here in the South of the country .. and hopefully Ireland will be free too – because otherwise there will be massive problems with everything under the sun.
Hopefully you’ll have great weather in Ireland. It’s been cold here and we have frost in the morning, but no snow that has stayed.
Now this I enjoyed… the last photo showed the ice beautifully…. and the thought of you getting down low onto cold ground like that put a shiver in my boots… lovely captures..
It was pretty chilly getting out there early in the morning. We’ve had frost every morning for the last several days.
Really so pretty. 🙂
Thanks you, Zelmare.
Quite lovely!
Thank you.
These are so COOL!
