Day 267 – Shevlin Park

I’ve been taking photos of a friend’s family since her son was born four years ago.  Today we met out at Shevlin Park to update their photo album.

I was hoping for a bit of overcast skies, but it was sunny and bright – not good for people photographs.  I tried taking the photos in the shade as much as possible, but that shadows still showed up.  I posting just a couple of them here.

Shevlin Park is a beautiful place for hiking or mountain biking.  It was such a nice day and a lot of people were out enjoying the beautiful fall day.  There were a lot of chipmunks running around.  I tried to get close enough to get a good photo but had to settle for a far away photo and then crop it.

      1. It takes me back to my childhood. There was a park in Cape Town where I did the same as young child – feed the chipmunks (here they’re called squirrels, and I don’t think they’re exactly the same, but close enough!) out of my hand. I loved it! :0
