Day 151.2

We had a gorgeous sunset tonight and I wanted to share some of the photos.  I didn’t have time to go to a great location so these were just taken from my yard.  The clouds were changing by the second and it only lasted for a few minutes.

The moon was an added bonus.

  1. If I could capture shots like that from my back yard I’d be a happy camper.. I have to almost get out of the city to find a clear spot to get a similar photo..

    1. Thanks, Wendy. Yes, I did use my tripod. I try use it whenever possible because photos are much sharper. But there are times/places where it’s just not possible and then I do the best I can to stay as still as possible.

  2. Looking at the clouds …. can’t remember if it means today will be a great day or less great day ??? Should know from being at sea for so many years. Hope it’s a good day. Top photo is mine !! Fantastic job again.

  3. I am same with dear Rob, in my home I can’t see the sunset and also sunrise, I have to go out of the city for this or a higher place… You are lucky dear Maralee and I can see how amazing moments you captured… Fascinating… Thank you, with my love, nia

  4. Can’t get enough of sunsets. They’re so ephemeral! One road trip we were traveling west and keeping pace with the setting of the sun so that it lasted for almost 45 minutes.
