Weekly Challenge: The Sea

“When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.”
– Rainer Maria Rilke

I  have always been drawn to water.  There is something about the sound of the waves crashing and the smell of the salt air that relaxes me.

      1. Maralee, not much … and my doctor hasn’t come back to me neither – so it has to wait until I’m back from NYC.
        Thanks for asking …
I wouldn’t mind to back to your coastline neither.

  1. There is nothing quite like the sea for ones health… it is always so relaxing to the mind and soul, that ones well being has no option but to agree…

  2. I love your coast pictures. What a difference from your regular landscape. We are going to the North Carolina coast soon. Your pics make me anxious to go.

  3. So very pretty…the images remind me of Gunta’s work at her blog “Movin On.” I think you would enjoy her photography of the Oregon coast. She’s on my blog-roll if you want to check her out.

  4. Beautiful, back in the 70’s, I remember bumming around with my friends. I went out to climb up one of those big rocks when the tide was out. I sat there and read the morning paper…until the tide started coming in and it was time to go back on shore. Thanks for the memories!

I'd love to hear from you
