I’ve been going to the river to practice photographing birds in flight. It’s hard to keep them in focus and have the entire bird in the frame. I will keep practicing. 🙂
I was going to say that geese make great subjects to practice photographing birds in flight, but I see that you already know that and have obviously been practicing from the quality of your photos.
Thank you so much. There’s been an eagle flying around at the location I was at that I wanted to try get better photos of, but it didn’t show up that day.
Thanks, Christine. I don’t remember the settings but when I try to get birds in flight, I use shutter priority and I set it around 1/1000 second. I may have to increase the ISO depending on the light.
WOW!
Thank you, Nia.
You are just getting better and better… National Geographics competition stuff these…
Thank you, Rob. What a wonderful compliment.
Wow …. fantastic job again … my pick must be the last … with two of them.
Thanks, Viveka.

Nice work!
Thank you, Carissa.
You’re doing a great job. I never thought to plant myself somewhere and practice. Good idea. Do you remember what camera and settings you used?

Thanks. I don’t have a lot of experience with shutter priority. I usually stick with aperture. I’m going to expand my horizons.
Fantastic captures 🙂
Thank you, Inga.
