We had snow showers on and off today which left us with melting snow on the bushes. It was also very cold so the water drops froze. The nice thing about ice drops is that they don’t drip when you move a branch – they stay put.

And the juniper berries are such a gorgeous shade of blue right now. Maybe it was the snow and moisture that made all the colors pop.
And today I have had more than 20,000 hits on my blog. That may be small potatoes to a lot of people, but it’s a big thing for me. Thank you to everyone who has looked at my blog.

Absolutely beautiful. I needed something to cheer me up today after such a tragedy in CT. Congrats on your blog. You are a beautiful photographer and I know you’ll go far with your work.
Thank you so much. After the events in Connecticut yesterday, I had to get out and free my brain for a bit. Sometimes taking photographs is the only way I can unwind and let my brain stop thinking about anything else.
I completely understand. That is why I wrote out a post tears and all. It made me feel a little bit better. Thanks again for your lovely photography. It truly brightens my day! 🙂
20,000 sounds huge to me. You do such beautiful work.
Thanks, Judy. I’m hoping you all are enjoying your Christmas with your mom. Please say hi to everyone and give them my best.
I will say “hi” to all.
Beautiful images, Maralee.
Thank you, Mike.

20,000 hits – wow! I always love your photos, Maralee – but these are exceptional. Very well done!
Congratulations, Maralee. I enjoy your photos. And I am sure you enjoyed photographing the juniper.
