Day 117 – My Deer Friends

As I am writing the post, I am looking out my window to fluffy flakes of snow drifting down from the heavens.  As the saying in this area goes, it isn’t spring until the snow falls on the dogwoods.  So I guess it’s officially spring.

Our deer friends were back this morning only one was missing.  They usually travel in a group of three. I don’t know what happened to their friend.  I hope nothing bad.

This little cat was walking along the fence line and the dandelion was growing in our yard.  It isn’t the only one . . .

  1. Oh dear Maralee, snow still there… Your photographs so lovely and made me smile this cat… as if she was jealousy with deers… 🙂 I loved them all. Thank you, have a nice Spring days and weekend, with my love, nia

  2. Snow again … start to feel sorry for you guys .. but you will not have a proper summer if all the snow isn’t coming down first. If that is a relief ??? Didn’t look that the snow stayed – Like the headline for this post … they are stunning your deer friends. Magnificent animals. Your photos is a lovely start on my sunny Spring Friday.

  3. We have a few regular deer here, too, also a set of three. I’m pretty sure it is a Dow and two fawns. We’ve watched them grow up. I haven’t seen them in a while.
