As I am writing the post, I am looking out my window to fluffy flakes of snow drifting down from the heavens. As the saying in this area goes, it isn’t spring until the snow falls on the dogwoods. So I guess it’s officially spring.

Our deer friends were back this morning only one was missing. They usually travel in a group of three. I don’t know what happened to their friend. I hope nothing bad.

This little cat was walking along the fence line and the dandelion was growing in our yard. It isn’t the only one . . .

Maralee

Love the photos thank you.
Thank you.
Oh dear Maralee, snow still there… Your photographs so lovely and made me smile this cat… as if she was jealousy with deers… 🙂 I loved them all. Thank you, have a nice Spring days and weekend, with my love, nia
The sun is shining today and no more snow. I think it will be a beautiful weekend. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Snow again … start to feel sorry for you guys .. but you will not have a proper summer if all the snow isn’t coming down first. If that is a relief ??? Didn’t look that the snow stayed – Like the headline for this post … they are stunning your deer friends. Magnificent animals. Your photos is a lovely start on my sunny Spring Friday.
Thank goodness the snow didn’t stick to the ground. It’s still pretty cold though. I think it will warm up in time for the weekend though. Have a wonderful weekend.
Same to you … enjoy your weekend.
Your deer friends…looks like they are dear friends 😀 lovely shots Maralee
One of the things I like about living where I do is the wildlife right outside our door. These deer roam the area and visit us every once i a while.
A few days ago the weather here was in the 80’s. Yesterday I about froze my nether region off. Sigh. Love the deer. I, too, hope #3 is okay.
The snow didn’t last and the sun is shining, but still freezing cold. It looks like the weekend will be pretty good. 🙂
Love the photos of the deers. We use to get a few here in the city but I haven’t seen them in awhile.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
I enjoy having them visit once in a while. Last year it was the mother and 3 young deer. This year it has been just the 3 young deer and yesterday it was just 2. Maybe the other one ran off and got married.
I’ve been nominated for The Sunshine Award (wonder when the voting begins and if I get anything besides that cute daisy). The good news is I then nominated you! So please go see my post http://photocitations.wordpress.com/2012/04/27/i-dont-deserve-arthritis/ then decide if you’re going to join in, or be curmudgeonly.
We have a few regular deer here, too, also a set of three. I’m pretty sure it is a Dow and two fawns. We’ve watched them grow up. I haven’t seen them in a while.
Ours will probably be gone most of the summer and return sometime in the fall.
Nice photos. I see the deer are beginning to shed. That can only mean spring is coming. 😀
