Last weekend we made a trip through eastern Oregon to Vale and Ontario. This area is truly “high desert” and has its own, unique beauty.
We saw lots of eagles. We didn’t have much time to spend stopping for photos on the way to Ontario, and taking photos at 65 mph is not easy. But I managed to get a couple of eagle shots, antelope and the beautiful scenery.
On our return trip we had time to stop, but the weather wasn’t very cooperative. We hit several snow squalls that lasted quite a while. We saw more eagles and hawks, but not much more.
I need to go back when I have more time to stop for a while.

so beautiful views and moments you captured dear Maralee, especially the legs of the bird made me smile. Thank you, have a great weekend, Love, nia
Neat photos! I especially liked the railroad tracks with the mountains in the background.
It is rather daft really BUT despite some fine Eagles and snow scenes…..its those railway tracks that created a second look, 🙂
Loved the Eagle in flight, and perched images! It looks like you had a great week-end!
Fantastic pictures. I really enjoyed your post! Thanks!
