I’ve really been enjoying the birds this spring. Sometimes they seem to be trying to tell you something. Sometimes they just can’t be bothered with you.
You have become a true bird-watcher …. fantastic photos you come up with … that last one is so cute with … building material in it’s beak – the red one is really trying to figure out what you are doing .. with that thing in front of your face. Lovely shot.

Thanks, Viveka. I’m thinking one of the birds is building a nest nearby. He keeps picking up twigs and feathers.
I’m sure … they was building a nest. Fantastic photos as always.
Nice.
I’m about to do my own post on the beginning of the 2013 Bird Season.
I always look forward to your bird photo.
Very nice!
Thank you.
I loved these photos! When are you going to MN?
Thanks, Judy. I leave on Wednesday. 🙂 Can’t wait to see everyone.
These are such great captures Maralee… most rewarding aren’t they.??
Thanks, Rob. I’ve developed a real fondness for the little birds.
You have some lovely photos, fun post!
Thank you very much.
Close enough to hug! 🙂
Maybe one day they will let me get that close. :-). They’re less fearful of me every day.
Me too. They sing such beautiful melodies.
I could listen to them sing all day long. Except the blue jay. That would irritate me all day long. 🙂
I shoo them jays way. Kwack – kaw- wack!
