While at the park the other day, I saw this little guy sitting in a bush. He let me get fairly close but when some other people walked by, he started ruffling his feathers.
The blue jay was outside my office window trying to figure out how to get food from the bird feeder. He is much to big and heavy for our little feeder. So he sat on the post hoping some of the other birds would drop some food.

What a looking you captured in the first one, dear Maralee, this is amazing. Thanks and Love, nia
Thank you, Nia. Have a wonderful weekend.
I love that second photo…”What??” he seems to be saying…
I know. He tried to be telling me something. And he looks mad.
Never seen a bird that blue before … so intense blue. But my pick is the top one … have loads of his relatives over here.
The blue jays are pretty birds but they have the loudest, most irritating sound . . . especially in the morning when I’m trying to sleep and they outside my window taunting my kitties. 🙂
Fantastic … looking bird. I don’t think we have anything that colorful and then you have the cardinal too. Not fair.
Always something to complain about … isn’t there.
The trees in my back yard is a bit away so I maybe will be able to live this them.
That is the coolest blue jay every. What a wonderful find.
Thanks, Bella. I’ve only seen him outside my office a couple of times, but we have several at my home.
Both fab captures. The first one is so cool, but I love the color and pose of the second one. 🙂
Thank you, Inga. The jay seems to be trying to tell me something.
