I took a stroll along the river on my lunch break the other day and the water was like glass. The water was a little mucky, but you could still see the reflections of the ducks. Even the squirrel drinking water was reflected in the river.

The world as I see it
Fantastic Maralee. Those reflections are awesome.
Thank you so much, Edith.
Neat theme . . . I tried that out here, but snow does not reflect as well, despite it too being water.
It’s amazing how we have absolutely no snow this year. It scares me a bit for the coming hot and dry summer.
The last one is my favurite 🙂 Loved it so much. You are amazing. Thanks and Love, nia
Thank you, Nia. He is a pretty cute little squirrel.
Great captures again… brilliant…
Thank you so much, Rob.
Very nice. I have the tendency to try and fill the frame and forget about any reflections until I see the photo that I’ve gotten and then slap myself in the forehead thinking that I should have captured the reflection as well.
That happens to me more often than I’d like to admit. 🙂 I have to really conscious that I want to get the reflection or I miss it completely.
You’re the master of reflections … even the most common birds look stunning through your lenses. My favorite has be the squirrel – never seen one so close to water before. And his fail is so fluffy and wide. Great shot. Happy Easter to you two.
Thanks, Viveka. I was stalking the squirrel for a while before he stopped for a drink of water. He wouldn’t let me get very close before running off.
Wonderful photo … so you did a great job. They are so quick too. *smile
I love seeing wildlife in the water. It really makes them come alive. Lovely images Maralee.
Thank you, Bella.
Love these, Maralee!
Thank you, Carissa. Have a wonderful weekend.
