I went to the park yesterday afternoon to see if the owl was still hanging around . . . he isn’t from what others said. But shortly after I got out of the car a bald eagle flew overhead. I hardly had time to react but I got a couple of shots. I didn’t have time to focus with the telephoto lens so the photos are from a distance and a bit grainy. I tried to clean up the noise a bit in NIK software.
He made two more passes overhead while I was there and I was able to get a couple more shots.
I’ve seen an eagle flying over the park a number of times so he may have a nest nearby.
