Christmas is over and it’s back to a normal schedule today. We had quite a bit of snow over the 4-day Christmas weekend. I’ve always thought the snow was so beautiful right after it snows before it gets dirty from traffic.
These were taken outside my house. I got this penguin bird seed feeder – haven’t had any birds visit it though.
We have lots of pine trees around us and I’ve always thought pine cones were interesting. There are so many different varieties and sizes.

Miss our snow … all gone during Tuesday night when it rained – now is mild weather again.
That little bird feeding is so cute.
Thanks, Viveka. We still have snow on the ground but we’re not supposed to have anymore snow falling for a week or so. I’m hoping I get some birds come to my bird feeder.
I hope so too – it’s so cute … when you get more snow they will come around. Sometimes to fancy feeders scares them. Best one is the net bags to hang in the tree.
Reality, eh?
A Penguin, a flightless bird, as a bird-feeder. The only thing more ironic would be if the feeder was up somewhere in Antartica . . . where they could not reach it.
