Day 357 – Ducks

Maralee_Park_121222_41057-EditMaralee_Park_121222_41066-EditToday was one of those days when snow squalls passed through all day.  I took a moment when the sun was shining to go down to the river to take photos of the ducks.  They’re always fun to photograph.

A bit blurry, but I liked the wings on this.

There is a jetty/dock built out into the Deschutes River that is the perfect place to duck watch.  There are a lot of old logs in the water where the ducks like to sit and enjoy the sun.  It’s a peaceful place to sit when the weather is nice . . . not so much in the winter.  Even though the sun was shining while I was there, it was cold.

  1. Maralee, the flying duck … is my clear favorite – it’s not blurry at all .. I like the movement in his wings – that brings action into the photo. It’s a truly brilliant photo.
Not many days left now … *smile

      1. I feel your pain. I’m still going through mine. I think I’ll still be congratulating people on completing their 365 project in February!
