There is a very small pond down at the Old Mill shopping area that is probably about 10′ x 10′. There were about 8-10 geese swimming around in this little area and I had to shoot them. Ten minutes later they were all sitting on the grass next to the pond.
I included the duck photo even though it was from a couple of days ago.

It hasn’t been that cold yet, although the weather forecast now is for a cold front and snow coming through tonight. We’ll see.
When I came of my bus yesterday at mums in the snow storm .. I heard geese in the sky … but couldn’t see them because of the snow – imaging flying in that weather. Lovely photos – my pick of the day, 2 from the top.
Thanks, Vivkeka. We still have no snow in town here. We had a few flurries last night but nothing that will last. The mountains have gotten tons of snow though. Good for the skiers.
I’m sure it … will come soon or later. Even if I’m not an Christmas fan as such – do I want a white Christmas, but I don’t have to shovel.
