The weather forecasters were correct . . . the rain started today.

I took these from my car at the gym. One is of a tree with some leaves still on it and the other is two different versions of a water slide at the outdoor swimming pool. For all of the photos, I used a very shallow depth of field and focused on the raindrops on the windshield.

Oh so cool! What am I going to do for my daily visual stimulus when you reach 365? Do you know what you are going to do with the blog?
Thanks so much. I will be continuing my blog but not on a daily basis. That’s just too hard when I’m working full time. I haven’t quite decided exactly what I’m going to do . . . may go back to so older photos over the last umpteen years plus new photos. We’ll see how it all develops.
I enjoyed these abstracts and encourage you to keep your vision of them. I teach young photographers to stop and look around them for nature’s best. There’s symmetry in nature everywhere. Nothing manmade can match the blue in the sky or green leaves. Rain makes great subject matter as does wind on a sandy beach or fire on wood. Keep your vision.
Thank you so much. I’ve found that this 365 project has really made me look at a lot of things differently.
Inspirational shots… only you would have thought to do that.. it shows the creativity of your mind… love it..
Thanks, Rob.
Maralee, I love the rain. I’m told if you repeat something enough times, you will believe it. 😉
I have to keep telling myself I like the rain too. Fortunately we don’t get so much that it gets oppressive.
