Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower. ~Albert Camus

I am continuing on my theme from yesterday…Autumn.
The winds have picked up and I woke to leaves blowing everywhere. Some had swirled into neat little piles, others were strewn all over the place. A few hardy leaves were still attached to the trees, but I don’t think they will be there for long.

The rain started to fall late in the afternoon and I’m sure the parched earth is happy about that.

Some great fall photos, the white berries, I think are Snow Berry.
Thank you, Gary. Snow Berry sounds appropriate. 🙂
Beautiful fall foliage.
Thanks, Susan.
What beautiful photos Maralee… love the 4th one….
Thank you, Rob. It won’t be long now before the tress will be completely bare and the snow will be on its way.
Yes!
Thank you, David.
I like! Those berries look like peeled litchis! (Although a lot smaller) 🙂
I love litchis. I wish we grew them here.
The white berries look like some I have on a little tree here. I don’t know what they are either, but the tree comes alive at times with little birds snatching them to eat.
Another blogger said they were Snow Berries. I guess that’s a good name for them. 🙂
Symphoricarpos albus – snow berries .. is the name of the white berry – we call the puff berries because the puff when you press them. Love you photos and I love your quote – have used it too. My pick is the leaf with the frost on – at least I think it’s frost. Love your autumn leaves.
Now I’m going to have to go press one of the berries to see if it puffs. :-).
It will puff … *smile
