There is a field of wildflowers in town that is in full bloom right now. I was there this afternoon and it was full of beautiful purple flowers. It was very windy so it was hard to get everything in focus.
I had to throw in another sunset photo. We have a cold front coming in and the wind strengthened and changed directions. It blew out most of the smoke that has been hanging over us for the last few days, although there was still a bank of smoke over the mountains . . . thus, another colorful sunset.

The smoke still around is not very pleasant but it does make beautiful sunsets…
They have the fire 50% contained. It still big – about 29,000 acres.
