For the most part, the smokey skies we’ve been having have dissipated and we were left with sunny, blue skies today. It doesn’t give us the beautiful sunsets we’ve had recently, but it does give us a beautiful, golden glow at sunset. These photos were taken in the open field across from our house. I liked the way the sun was shining on the sagebrush just before sunset.

Dusk really gives everything a warm and wonderful glow – my favorite is the lonely telephone pole. I don’t know why.. Must be the orange sky and that bare lonely pole.
