I didn’t know what to photograph today until I saw the hummingbirds out by our feeder. We had a number of them chasing each other off. While I was waiting for them as they would come and go, another bird was hanging around our yard for a while. I think he was just waiting for me to take his photo.

t has been cooling down a bit – it’s been freezing in some areas at night. I don’t think the hummingbirds will be around much longer. I’m going to miss them over the winter.

I absolutely love the last one. I’ve been trying to capture our little guy when he lands on my trellis, not unlike yours, but as yet have been unable.
Thanks, Christine. My shepherds crook that holds the hummingbird feeder has a metal outline of a hummingbird on it. I was hoping to get the metal hummingbird in too, but he was just too quick.
