It’s been a busy couple of days and I haven’t had much chance to get out and shoot. I took this photo at a visit to my doctor’s office. They have a wonderful little courtyard with this water feature. Unfortunately, my visit there was at part of the brightest times of the day and the sun was shining directly onto the water. It didn’t come out quite as I would have liked it. But, it would still be a pleasant place to relax for a bit.

It’s funny how much sunlight can change the look of a picture. I’m just learning that. I like this picture.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Sometimes you just have to work with what you have. It’s always hardest when the sun is straight up at it’s brightest.
Lovely picture the water with its velvet look … lovely…
Thanks, John.
understand what you mean about the light but this one came out still
Thank you, Joanna.
The sound of water is always relaxing, don’t you think? 🙂
I agree. The sound of water is so relaxing. I used to live by a lake that had a lot of rocks on the shore and I could sit there for hours listening to the waves wash up against the rocks. That steady whoosh. Just thinking about it is relaxing. 🙂
Maralee … this is the only photo that I have seen of yours that don’t click with me. Something that doesn’t look real – maybe it’s the water that look like milk *smile – hope you mind me saying it.
I don’t mind at all. It was hard to photograph because the sun was shining right on the water and I was trying to compensate for that.
A photo in the sun is the most challenging. You also choose a long exposure to smooth the water. So it was a double challenge that came out nicely. 😀
Like how you rolled with the situation and still got a great photograph..
