I had an idea for a photo today but the weather didn’t cooperate. It was a little too windy so I will save that idea for another day.
Instead I did this reflection in a glass. I actually got this idea from another blogger and I can’t remember who. If you know who your are, let me know, I would like to give you credit.
This was my first attempt at this and I have other ideas using the same process. Again, that will be for the future.

Cool idea! I’m going to have to give this a try!
It was fun. I have a couple of ideas to try using it again in various settings.
Nicely done! I’d like to try this too.
Thanks, Sarah. It was easy and fun.
there you have it… paradise – in a glass!
🙂
This is great shot. So creative and so beautiful… You are amazing dear Maralee, Thank you, have a nice day, love, nia
Thank you, Nia.
Love these photos and its getting me to think about other possibilities… great…
Thank you. I got this idea from another blog. I’m trying to train my brain to be more creative but it’s an old brain and is a little slow at these things.
Looking at your photo I think mine is much older than yours, so you can imagine getting this one to be creative requires aid from photos like yours…
How pretty! wonderful idea. 🙂
Thank you very much.
It took me a bit of looking to find the reflections – very clever and playful. You’re really looking at things in a different prospective through those lenses of yours. Really like it.
Thanks, Viveka. I’m trying hard to look at things a little differently. The brain doesn’t always want to cooperate.
Very nice! I need to try this too. Looks like fun (and a challenge!)
It was fun and it’s really pretty simple. My biggest problem was finding a decent background in my yard where the house or something else didn’t show up.
Very cool!
Thank you.
I’m getting so many great ideas from the blogs I follow. Especially yours. Gotta try this. I just might fill the glass with a nice chardonnay so I can drink it after I’m done shooting!
I had thought about the glass of chardonnay but all I had was red wine and I didn’t think that would work too well. 🙂
Well, I tried this last night when I got home from work. I found I didn’t have the right type of glass and the lighting was all wrong. So I simply drank the wine. The evening was not a complete waste!
I guess you’ll just have to keep trying. 🙂
Beautiful:)
absolutely love these.. : )
Thank you, Dianne.
Love love love the way you composed this photograph!! Beautiful..
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Never saw anything like it…. a clever approach to photography!
Thank you so much. However, I must admit that the idea itself wasn’t my own. I’d seen another photo using a glass and water and I liked the effect. I get a lot of inspiration from others.
