I’m back to my macro shots today. I’ve been checking my garden daily to see if there’s anything new growing but I guess a watched garden doesn’t grow. We do have a few things growing that were planted years ago and keep coming back up.

I planted a bunch of wildflowers and I’m hoping some of them will take. Right now they are just tiny little shoots that you can hardly see but I’m hoping by summer they are growing.

I couldn’t get very excited about these today, but it was all I could do with the time I had.

I’m loving all your images!! 🙂
Thanks, Susan. I appreciate it.
These are lovely! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much.
I love these photos, and do agree, a watched garden is like watching a boiling kettle, it just never seems to like being watched and changes so quick when not watched… Thanks to the salesman of a Macro lens, we get to enjoy his sale and someones else had to pay for it… lol
Thanks. I’m going to be getting my money’s worth out of that lens – trust me. 🙂
Lovely pics. 🙂
Thank you, Inga.
Brilliant job .. again, the macro lens has catch you eyes on to the small things … the blue flowers are my favorite.
Thank you, Viveka. The second purple flower is actually a very nasty weed and I’ll be pulling them out soon. I wanted to photograph it first.
There is some beautiful weed around .. this time of year. On the path from the station to mums – I find something new every time I walk there, stunning flowers – that is my “wildlife” path.
Lovely photos.. The last one in this series is also my favorite!
Thank you so much. I’m hoping to get more wildflowers growing later in the summer and get more color.
Love the blue flower photo. What is that? Forget-Me-Not?
I’m not quite sure what it is. Several years ago I planted a mix of wild flowers and this is the only one that’s still growing year after year. You’re probably right on the Forget-Me-Not.
They’re all gorgeous Maralee! I fell head over heels for the little blue flower. 🙂
