We have had a lot of rain (and a little snow) over the last couple of days. It finally stopped this afternoon and I ventured out to try get some raindrop and texture photos.

We have a wonderful empty field across the street where there is a plethora of burned out trees, grasses and brush. I counted about a dozen trees in various stages of decay and all of them look as if they had been burned-probably in lightning strikes.

Gorgeous shots. Fascinating textures, so beautifully captured.
You’re going to wear out that macro lens . . .
I’ll do my best.
I love the lens wear it out if you can…
Now I just need another camera so I can have my regular lens on one camera and the macro on another and I won’t’ have to change lenses. Wishful thinking. 🙂
They are beautiful and so creative shots… I loved them all dear Maralee, Thank you, love, nia
Thank you, Nia.
Maralee, your world will be looked at through marco from now on .*smile – my favorite is the top one … but they are all so good. Leaves with raindrops are sodelicious.
Now I need to find some tiny critters to photograph. They’re not always cooperative though. They don’t like to pose.
What does critters stand for .. *smile
We sometimes refer to small animals as critters. I was talking about REALLY small critters – like insects. 🙂
beautiful shots Maralee…I’m impressed
