I woke up this morning to a gorgeous winter day. Snow had fallen and was heavy on the trees. It looked like a winter wonderland. But wait, this is April. It’s supposed to be rain showers and warmer weather. But regardless of the time of year, it was very pretty.
Of course, being April, the snow didn’t last very long. I took these shots early in the morning when I first got to work.

great snow photos, but.. it is too late in the year, we want to put away our winter things.. its time for the crocuses to get some sun, poor things.

I looked it up on the map. I probably went pretty close to Pavia when I took a train from Cinque Terre to Lake Como. I don’t know where the train runs, but it’s in that direction.

Snow .. we had for a couple hours snow on Saturday, but didn’t stay … they say about snow that’s is like friendship – it softens everything it falls on. “Snow on grass” – my pick for the day.
I don’t think we’ll have much more snow this year. Spring has finally arrived. Snow is always a possibility, but it won’t stick now. One year we had snow on July 4th.
That’s a bit late .. we had a couple of time around – 1th of May.
