After a week of snow and rain, the sun finally came out today. It was one of those days when the sky is incredibly blue with just a few beauty clouds to enhance it. I went down to an area of the river I haven’t been in several years. People were out walking their dogs, jogging along the trail, even fly fishing.

Although the temperature was hovering in the mid-40’s, the sun felt wonderful. A sure sign that spring is on the way was the gnats flying around.

There is a marshland area on the river with a field of cattails. I could hear a lot of birds chirping, but only saw a few.

I am patiently awaiting more spring flora and fauna to appear.

What are those circles in the river (house reflection picture)?
That’s an area on the river where they give fly fishing lessons and those circles are targets. At least that’s what I could gather from the signs posted there.
I totally want to go fishing. Great photos.
There are some fantastic fishing rivers in this area.
Madame
Your the master of reflection photography. Good day Nonoy Manga
Thank you so much.
Great shots Maralee, the first one is my favorite, the perfect reflection!
Thanks, Joanna. It was one of those rare days here when the water was calm, the sky was blue, and it was gorgeous. We have a lot of gorgeous days here, but it can be very windy so the water isn’t always that calm.
Great bunch of photo’s again … You living in a stunning area of the world. Love the photo with the bird. This with us going out looking for the spring all the time – is very exciting really. Today my world is full of thick mist – going to visit friends this afternoon and maybe there will be some more spring around Simrishamn this week. The longing and wish for Spring is some forceful feelings !!!!! Have a great weekend – you haven’t told me about your pyjama business yet ???!!!
Sometimes that this mist is perfect for taking photographs. Have a great visit. And I don’t know what you mean when you ask about the pajama business. Have a wonderful weekend.
I do so love reflection pictures! That first one is a gem. 🙂
I am sooo behind on my photoblogs! Love this,
