The two remaining osprey chicks are getting bigger and changing color. I read that they have a huge growth spurt between 20-30 days after hatching. So I’m thinking that in another week they should be hitting that growth spurt. Now if they can just make it through this triple digit heat wave.

They are so darn cute.
They are kind of ugly-cute and it seems the adult is providing good protection.
We’re having an historic heat wave here so I hope they’ll be okay. It’s 106 degrees here
I’ve been following some of the news, and fear the effects of that heat will be tragic to man and beast. I hope you are able to stay cool and that it breaks soon.
