It has been a week since I last saw the owlets. I wasn’t sure if they were still around or if they had left the area. I saw one of them this evening so I’m sure the other one isn’t far away. This one has lost most of its fuzziness and looks very much like an adult owl. He just sat perched on this rock sleeping and I stayed until I lost too much light and it got too cold.

Have you seen them hunt or eat anything that it looked like they caught?
I saw one with something that looked like a mouse but it was pretty far away. Haven’t seen them hunting
They grow up and move on in no time. What fun these owlet images have been to see!
I don’t think they’ll be around much longer. They are as big as their parents now. I’ll keep checking from time to time.
If you are like me you won’t be able to help yourself…always looking where you saw them last….hoping.
