I’ve been going to the river to watch the entertaining killdeer and Wilson’s Snipes. But yesterday it was the ducks that were entertaining. There were 40-50 ducks near the river and they all decided to fly to the river at about the same time. I caught a few of them coming in for a landing. This is one of them.

I love these sequences. I was at the Scottish Photographic Federation Digital Photo Champs over the weekend you would have been blown away by the standard of nature photography.
I’m sure I would have. I would have loved to see it. It inspires me to see great photography. It gives me something to aspire to.
Panning is a lost art.I do it all the time with my eagle friends.
