It was a beautiful spring day yesterday and I spent a couple of hours at the river enjoying it. There wasn't much bird activity but I did find this one killdeer in the mud flats. Maralee

I came across this flock of cedar wax wings while walking along the river. They remind me of Zorro with their little black masks around their eyes. Maralee

Osprey in Flight
After watching the osprey on its perch for a while, it flew off and landed in a tree a little ways down the river. I was able to get a few shots as it left the perch. Maralee
