This photo was taken from the bottom of Bryce Canyon as we were starting or hike along the switchbacks up to the top. Lighting was a challenge because it was fairly dark at the bottom and extremely bright at the top.

It is a gorgeous place. I’d love to go and spend several days, rather than the few hours that we had.

I love the photo, but wouldn’t it be easier to start at the top and walk down? 😉
We had to walk down from the other end. :-). It was a little gentler walk down from the other end, but I think I would have been afraid walking down the switchback. I have a fear of heights and it was pretty dusty. I would have been afraid of sliding off the side. 🙂
