“The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow, but the rainbow won’t wait while you do the work.”

I have been known to stop in wonder and watch a rainbow. When I lived in Hawaii, they were almost a daily occurrence. Now that I see them only occasionally, I appreciate them much more.

This is the final installment on the weekly challenge of color. It has made me much more appreciative of all the beauty in the world.

“This blog has made ME much more appreciative of all the beauty in the world”… Maralee your photography and captures are just out of this world…
Thank you so much Rob.
I have never seen rainbow photos like a few of these that you’ve taken!
I try to have my camera with me all the time so when the opportunity presents itself, I can photograph it. Some of these were just being lucky.
AMAZING. I wish I could capture one.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thank you, Francine.
I really like the featured photo and the Norway. They are unusual. Has to be the right place at the right time.!
It is definitely being at the right place at the right time. For the one in Norway we were on a tour bus at a restaurant at the top of this “mountain” overlooking the valley. Everyone was getting ready to go to the bus at the back of the building and I went out front to look over the valley and this rainbow appeared. It lasted about 10 seconds and I was able to photograph it. Most people there didn’t get a chance to see it.
Sensational Norwegian picture.
Thank you so much. For that particular photo, I was there at the right time. The rainbow only lasted about 10 seconds.
I’m so fascinated by rainbows … once outside Seattle did we have two. What a gallery, Maralee – my points has to Norway in this contest. *smile
