I looked at the first one and was stunned by how beautiful it was, and was starting to compose a comment about it, but then I saw the others and couldn’t believe that I like some of them better than the first! Brilliant photos!
Stunning absolutely stunning that last photo is beyond words… fantabulously good.. (got to make up words to describe your photos now.. those in the dictionary are just not expressive enough any more)
Thank you, Rob. The last photo was taken in the small town in Minnesota where I grew up. I was there visiting last year and was treated to some fantastic sunrises. I don’t get back there much anymore, but as I get older I appreciate the beauty of the place I took for granted for so many years.
The only reason I get to see the sunrise is that I have to get up early to go to work. The older I get, the harder it is to get out of bed before the sun comes up.
Thank you, Viveka. We have some wonderful sunsets here. I love the colors that appear after the sun has set, too. Sometimes that is even more beautiful.
Thank you, Bella. The day I went out to Smith Rock it didn’t appear to be a good day for a sunset. Then when it started to set and the colors came out, I was awestruck.
These are absolutely stunning!
Thank you so much.

I’ve never seen a sunrise. I’ll have to try to get out of bed one of these days if they all look like that.

All photos are so gorgeous! In answer to your question yesterday – my Mom is doing about the same; happy to be at home. Thanks for asking.
Thanks, Judy. Glad to hear your mom is doing okay. I’ll be going back home to visit mom and sisters in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait.
Have a good time in MN. When will you be there? You have a darling great nephew to photograph. He looks like he is always smiling.
Talk about having an evening on fire – WOoOOoOOoW – the colors!!!!!!! My pick has to be the moon. Wonderful, you have really cracked that one.
