Tulips . . . IV (Backlit)

Maralee_Park_130309_43843-EditMaralee_Park_130309_43850-Edit Maralee_Park_130309_43827-EditI wanted to try to get some photos of the tulips when they opened using backlighting from the sun.  We were fortunate to have a couple of beautiful, sunny days.  Today there was a lot of sunshine but there was a thin high cloud cover which made for a little more diffused lighting.

  1. Top of the class for you Maralee… for thinking of this 100% pass, for the photographs 100% pass, to the top of the class for you… a true professional if you ask me…

  2. WOW … wow … know you getting serious in your “playing around”. Stunning all of them – Amazing how the color change depending on the light behind. My pick has to be the second last, because I love the deep purple and the strong yellow.

      1. You have done a fantastic job with that bunch of tulips … I agree with you that it gives a glow and a softness to the photo. It’s like using back light in a photo software, but fare better with a studio light behind.
