Our first stop in Yellowstone (after stopping for the grizzly photo in yesterday’s post) was Mammoth Hot Springs. We walked along the boardwalk trails that have been built to navigate through the hot spring.
I’m only posting a few shots here but if you’d like to see more beautiful photos of the area, Disperser (click here) has some wonderful photos on his blog. He also has some pretty fantastic photos of wildlife at Yellowstone (click here).
Yellowstone is one of those places that I definitely want to go back to and spend more time.

WOW! Looks like our Pamukkale 🙂 Beautiful photographs. Thank you dear Maralee, have a nice weekend, love, nia
Thank you, Nia. you have a wonderful weekend, too.
That does look interesting… more please… of your photos not someone else s…
Thanks, Rob. I will be posting more.
These are stunning images Maralee. I definitely have to get to Yellowstone one of these days.
Thank you Edith. Yellowstone is one of those unique places that are a must on your bucket list. Were were there in October after the tourist crowds had gone and the winter hadn’t arrived. We were lucky to have good weather – they can get snow early in the season.
We don’t have any hot springs in Sweden, but Iceland is full of them – never been there. UK has in Bath.
Amazing photos – my favorite is the last one. Could you bath in them, like they do on Iceland the whole year around? Have a great weekend you two.
Thanks, Viveka. Iceland is one of those places I’d like to visit some time.
Wow! The colours in these photos are fantastic! What an amazing place. 🙂
Thank you, Inga. Yellowstone is a pretty amazing place.
Beautiful! That second shot is amazing!
Thank you, Carissa.
Wow such beautiful photographs!! Were photos 1 & 2 taken using long exposure’s??
Thanks, Marcus. No, they weren’t long exposures. Everything was hand held as I wasn’t about to lug my 30 pound tripod around with me. 🙂 I will look up the exposure values and let you know.
I was just curious because of the creaminess to those particular images.. They are so beautiful!!
