Yellowstone . . . Mammoth Hot Springs

Maralee_Park_101013_08541-Edit-EditMaralee_Park_101013_08455-EditOur first stop in Yellowstone (after stopping for the grizzly photo in yesterday’s post) was Mammoth Hot Springs.  We walked along the boardwalk trails that have been built to navigate through the hot spring.

I’m only posting a few shots here but if you’d like to see more beautiful photos of the area, Disperser (click here) has some wonderful photos on his blog.  He also has some pretty fantastic photos of wildlife at Yellowstone (click here).

Maralee_Park_101013_08529-EditYellowstone is one of those places that I definitely want to go back to and spend more time.

    1. Thank you Edith. Yellowstone is one of those unique places that are a must on your bucket list. Were were there in October after the tourist crowds had gone and the winter hadn’t arrived. We were lucky to have good weather – they can get snow early in the season.

  1. We don’t have any hot springs in Sweden, but Iceland is full of them – never been there. UK has in Bath.
Amazing photos – my favorite is the last one. Could you bath in them, like they do on Iceland the whole year around? Have a great weekend you two.

I'd love to hear from you
