I’ve never been a fan of power lines, but after taking photos of them in this project this year, I’m finding I dislike them less. They sometimes have interesting lines and against a nice sunset, they have their own character and beauty.
We have still been having some very orange sunsets due to the smoke in the area. The fires are just about 100% contained, but the smoke still does sit on the horizon. These photos were taken at the same time, some looking west where the smoke is and some more easterly where there is no smoke.

I agree these photos are great! Never understood why we have not put those underground yet like they have in most of Europe….
Its probably a matter of expense. Most new construction areas are putting lines underground. I’d like to see them all go underground. 🙂
