Purple has always been one of my favorite colors. Maybe that is why I have so many purple flowers in my garden. I had a couple of new ones bloom this week.

My Russian sage is taking over one section of the garden, but I like it so much, I don’t care. I’m even liking the purple weeds.
Thank you, Christine. I don’t know a lot of poetry, but I loved that poem the first time I heard it. I love my Russian Sage. It comes back better and better every year.
I’m a huge purple/lilac fan. My bedroom as a young girl (from about 7 to 13) was white and lilac. Love all the shots, but especially the poppy – it is something different. 🙂
Thank you, Zelmare. We had lilac bushes at home when I was growing up and I would open my bedroom windows so the scent would drift in. I don’t have lilacs here, but I can still imagine the scent.
