I went off in search of wildflowers again today.
It was too hot to be out too long so I went as far as the local shopping center where they have a small field filled with daisies, black-eyed Susan, and indian paintbrush flowers. It’s the same area where the lupines were blooming a couple of months ago.
The photo with the field of flowers may look a bit fuzzy. I was trying to get the flowers with the wind blowing using a slower shutter speed. I wasn’t very successful in getting the image I wanted. My minds eye always seems to see things differently than what actually comes out.

Wow! That’s a heck of a flower field.
It’s actually a pretty small area in the back of a parking lot at a shopping center, but it is filled with wildflowers. I’d love to see something like this at the base of a mountain covered with snow with a stream running through it. Am I asking for too much?
No, but you can help it along . . . find the place, and sprinkle it with a bunch of wildflower seeds.
Beautiful!
Thank you, John.
Ooops. I posted under the wrong person. But thank you for your comments.
Brilliantly captured as usual, I loved the field of flowers, certainly enough of them… the third photo is just out of this world… lovely shots…
Thank you, John. I think the wildflowers are at their peak here now.
Really Maralee, your photographs blow me away ~ simply beautiful!
Thank you, Susan. I think Mother Nature does most of the work. I’m always in awe of the beauty around us.
Lovely and beautiful. 🙂
Thank you very much.
So beautiful …. the “meadow” is my clear favorite. It looks like it was a massive field of it – then I saw your comment. Stunning photo.
Ah, gorgeous… That field of flowers is amazing!!!!
Love these!! Haha yea, sometimes it is hard to capture what we have in mind, but these turned out very nicely!
