I may not have found the wildflowers I was looking for yesterday, but I have some new ones (and some old ones) popping up in my little garden area.

I don’t know what some of these are – I just got a conglomeration of seeds to plant this spring and this is what’s coming up.

So much of my garden is purple that it was nice to see some yellow flowers coming up. I have more that haven’t flowered yet and I can’t wait to see what they will be.

Although the grass is green, I liked the way the light was hitting it.

Gorgeous colors and light.
Thank you, Inga.
How gorgeous! Your garden must be such a happy place with all the purple and yellow flowers. 🙂
Thanks, Zelmare. I do enjoy the garden area. When we first moved there that area was nothing but rocks and weeds. We’ve tried planting different things there to see what works. We have no irrigation going to that area so we try to plant things that don’t require much water. After 12 years its still a work in progress. If I could just get rid of the weeds. 🙂
🙂 Yeah, I don’t think that’s going to happen! I love a beautiful garden, but I’ve found that when I get busy with other things, the poor garden comes a distant second… (or third…)
lovely yellow…great shots Maralee
Thank you, Joanna.
These are just outstanding… such quality… truly outstanding..
Thank you, John.
Truly bright yellow and beautiful, Maralee. 🙂
Thank you, Mike.
I love the composition of the first photo. Very nice!
Thanks, Carissa. I didn’t know what that flower was so I looked it up in a wildflower site. The English version name if tidy tips. Very appropriate, I think.
These are amazing. I love the first one ~ the petals almost look like candy corn.
Thanks, Susan. I had to look up what the first flower was – its called tidy tips. I only have a few of them but I really like them so I’m going to have to look for more seeds next year.
Love yellow flowers …. stunning photos … you’re getting so good with your macro. My favorite is the first shot. Excellent job.
