I had hoped to get out and take some photos after work today, but as I was driving home, I could see thunderheads forming overhead and by the time I got home it was starting to sprinkle and I could hear thunder nearby. So I didn’t think it was prudent to be going out with my metal tripod and set up somewhere. So I settled for taking photos at home.
This orchid plant is on its second growth. Self-admitedly, I do not have a green thumb. So I was very excited to have this orchid come around again.
I wanted to do a variation on the same subject. I used the process with the glass of water that I tried last week. I got much closer to the subject and I’m happy with how it turned out.
Then I photographed the orchid itself, and last of all, I got up close and personal.

Thank you very much. Orchids are one of my favorite flowers (although I have a lot of favorites). I have 4 orchid plants, but only one is blooming right now.
I have 10 orchid plants. I have only orchids 🙂 only one has flowers now but they always come back blooming!
