A friend from work invited us out to his farm where one of his ewes had just given birth to two lambs just a few days ago.
They were the cutest darned things but stayed very close to their mother. It was one of those gorgeous, sunny days – a little too sunny for good lighting.
An overcast day would have been much better. It was a bit on the harsh side today.
The lambs stayed under the shade of a tree most of the time which made it even more difficult. And they wouldn’t stand still no matter how much I asked them too. But it was fun, and we had a good time.

You live in the most wonderful setting – the lambs are adorable, Love the photo with the sheep’s and the mountain in the background. Yes, the live on farm is very relaxing, but it must such a hard work. Wonderful report …. from the country.
I’ve never spent much time on a farm but I know it is a lot of hard work. I’m glad I was able to enjoy a few of the finer moments out there.
