As it happens every so often, today I was not very inspired. I know everyone has periods when nothing happens creatively. Maybe it’s caused by a couple of long days at work, not enough sleep, or something that just causes everything to shut down. Today was one of those days. Try as I might, I could not get inspired. So, here is my single leaf . . . it was all I had in me today.

This is all you need sometimes. You’ve got to be giving yourself a lot of credit to be thinking about this every single day of the year. And if it’s one picture or five… you are there. And no matter the quantity they are always bring a smile.

It often so that it’s the small things that we walk by without notice that are most beautiful and I always notice that when I had a camera in my hand – I look at the world around me with different eyes. There is so much beauty around us – in a small leaf or in a raindrop. Think this is lovely. The texture of the little single leaf is fantastic.
