We have a couple of trees in our yard that are full of blossoms right now. They don’t bear fruit and I have no idea what kind of trees they are.

But they sure a pretty and smell wonderful right now. We have a fairly stiff wind blowing right now and I’m afraid these pretty little blossoms won’t be around much longer.

Lovely looking blossoms. It is so difficult to identify all the trees that grow in an area, is it an indigenous tree or was it planted there?
I’m sure it was planted here. It was already here when we bought the house 11 years ago.
Beautifully photographed blossoms.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Really gorgeous, Maralee.
Thank you.
I really like the second one. The darker background pops the blossoms nicely!
Thanks, Carissa. I wish I could capture the smell somehow. When the wind blows and the scent drifts into the house, it is so nice.
Very pretty in pink …. lovely – now our cherry tree with pink and white flowers are in full bloom – have to go down and take some photos today … and play around with. Top one I pick.
Thanks, Viveka. Our crabapple tree hasn’t blossomed yet this year. That one is always so pretty and it smells sooooooooo good.
You have a great eye for beautiful photographs. Trying to imagine what the scent would be like from those blossoms.
Thanks. The scent from these trees is fairly subtle sweet – but not too strong. When our crabapple tree blossoms, those have a much stronger sweet scent. I enjoy both of them.
LOVELY!!!
Thanks, Joanna.
How sweet and very, very pretty. I love the last one. 🙂
How beautiful these photographs and these flowers… Thank you dear Maralee, with my love, nia
Thank you, Nia.
Oh such pretty pink blossoms!! 😀
Thanks, Shez. I think most of the blossoms will be gone in a few days. A couple of good winds and they will be history for this year.
absolutely love these, and love that beautiful soft lighting.. : )
Thank you, Dianne. Some were taken early morning and some late afternoon so the light was a little softer.
