It has been a week since I was up at the osprey nest. During that week we had historically high temperatures (108 degrees) and I was concerned about the welfare of the chicks. Thankfully, the family survived and the babies are continuing to grow.
Dad brought home a nice fish for the hungry babies.

Most excellent! How do you get then to pose?
I ask them very nicely 😄
Perhaps your best yet!

Beautiful shots.
Another fabulous action series, Maralee! Those family shots are sweet, both with the fish and then the two adults looking right at you. Glad to hear that the chicks survived the heat, and that you’ve gotten some relief.
Thank you. It’s still very hot but at least not triple digits.
Your photos always bring joy and amazement. So beautiful!
Did you wave a fish or something to get them to both look at you?
Very nice series.
